We’re proud to partner with Wells on Wheels, a charity making access to water easier for families in rural India. In these communities, women and children often walk miles each day in soaring temperatures to fetch water, balancing heavy containers on their heads. This daily task takes a toll on their mental and physical well-being—all for a resource that’s a basic human right.

Wells on Wheels provides innovative water wheels, which hold five times more water than a standard bucket and can be rolled rather than carried. Each wheel, donated free of charge to families in need, helps reduce the burden on those collecting water. With the help of Wells on Wheels, over 2000 girls are now attending school regularly.

For every Open Day our clients hold, we donate a wheel in their name, providing them with a certificate to display their contribution.

To date, Ignite has donated over 300 water wheels, each one helping to change lives.
