Why you need a landing page
With a beautifully designed website, you may be wondering why you need a landing page.
You’ve got your website up and running. It might have taken a lot of work, and maybe you even hired SEO experts or a designer. So why then, would you need another page?
Firstly, you’ll need to understand what a landing page is. It’s essentially a mini version of your website that people can land on from an ad campaign you’ve set up. This means, that when a prospective patient clicks to book a consultation or find out more on your ads, they will be taken to this page.
Why can’t you use just your normal website?
Landing pages are adapted to convert those potential patients. They should have only relevant information and reaffirm what was said in the ad. There should be clear call-to-actions and effective imagery.
Websites, on the other hand will have a lot of information and large navigation menus. The user may have to spend time looking for what they actually want, which can put them off, increasing the bounce rate.
Setting up a landing page makes their life easier by offering everything they want, right in front of them.
