Nurture your own network first before turning to paid ads

Don’t listen to people who tell you the first thing you should do with your healthcare business is advertise it on Facebook or on other channels online.  

While paid ads are incredibly effective for getting new patients through the door, you’ll need to nurture what you already have before you start advertising. 

In this video, Derek explains how the best source of patients for any clinic are existing patients, word-of-mouth patients and clinic referrals. This is because conversion rates for these types of leads are higher. 

Once you’ve worked on expanding your patient base through these sources and are ready to expand and grow your business, you can start advertising online. 

You need to remember that advertising isn’t as simple as putting a campaign out there and waiting for people to walk through the door. There is a lot more to it. 

Some new leads won’t be ready to commit, and you’ll need to work and adjust your follow-up process depending on the type of lead you are getting.
