Facebook Ads vs Google Ads for your practice
Many businesses, including healthcare businesses, struggle to know which platform to use to advertise their business. With a limited budget, they aren’t sure whether they should invest in advertising with Google or Facebook and which of the two would be more effective for them to increase the number of enquiries coming in.
In this 3-minute clip, Derek explains the difference between Facebook and Google Ads and why you should invest in both, even with a smaller budget.
Facebook ads
Facebook Ads allow you to reach a larger audience than with Google. You are putting content out there, selecting a target audience and seeing who you can attract. With Facebook, the cost-per-click tends to be much lower, making it more affordable than Google. However, many of those clicking on your website will not be ready to commit.
Google ads
Google ads targets those specifically looking on Google for the services you offer. This means that they are further along in their journey to becoming an actual patient, but it also means that each click is more expensive as the prospective patient is also more likely to book an appointment.
